Employee Testimonials
I have worked at Crystal Rehabilitation for almost 9 years, and I enjoy interacting with the residents. I enjoy learning about their life stories.
Columbia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a great place to work. I love the people. Our employees are passionate about providing quality nursing care and rehabilitation to both our rehab and long-term care residents. The staff are professional, caring, and compassionate. I enjoy working with the staff here, the management team encourages a collaborative culture, the work environment is friendly, and the pay and benefits are competitive. The corporate staff empowers the local facility team by providing the resources, development opportunities, technology and professional support needed to provide a high-quality healing and supportive environment for our residents. Each day at Columbia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is challenging and rewarding and I can’t imagine working anywhere else.
I love helping the residents and enjoy the people I work with.
I am the Activity Director and I have been here 15 years. I love my job and residents.
When I became a nurse, I knew I wanted to help people and be there for people in need. The best part of this job is helping people get through whatever is holding them back whether it is sickness, being down, and therapy, etc. Being a part of this Nexion family is what makes me happy. We are one big family here and we care for each and everyone.
At Gulf Shores, I work with amazing coworkers, our food is delicious, and I like working under the supervision of Pablo Pillado, Director of Nursing.
I’m the DON at McKinney and I’ve been here 9 months. I’ve actually been with Nexion for as long as I remember- it’s been over 10 years! I am pregnant and this is my 3rd Nexion baby. I love Nexion, I grew up with Nexion. I started as a CNA and here I am as a DON. I have 4 more days till my due date and here I am working because I love to come to work and take care of my residents. We have a great staff and I want to be here for them. I love it here and I feel the best when I can help my residents.
Management is very supportive of staff.
Working at North Star Ranch feels like you’re working with family, from the staff to the residents. It doesn’t feel like a job when you are around people you care about and people that care about you. There is a huge sense of pride knowing that you’ve made a difference in someone’s day, and you’ve left knowing that you showed them love and did your best to make their day, put a smile on their faces, and warmed their hearts.
I have worked here as a CNA for 5 years. I love my residents and helping others.
I assumed the role as Administrator of Sterling Hills in April. This place is simply amazing! Our nursing staff is very competent and compassionate, the food is delicious, and the residents are precious gems. I have gained a host of family and friends at Sterling Hills.
Renaissance is a very friendly place with staff that support and encourage one another. I’ve been here since doing my clinicals for my NP.
As a new hire at Picayune Rehab, one of the best things so far about working here is the opportunities provided to learn new areas and expand my nursing about my job focus. One of my favorite things is seeing a resident with a wound heal and close.
I enjoy working at Picayune Rehab and Healthcare Center because of its environment. Staff are always willing to go the extra mile for the residents. The facility is clean and welcoming. There is always something going on with activities. There is truly a sense of genuine love for the residents at Picayune Rehab and Healthcare Center.
Cornerstone is a wonderful facility with caring employees. We feel like our residents are family and want them to feel at home here. Overall, I feel our residents are happy and receive quality care.
I really enjoy working at Picayune Rehab. It’s close to home and everyone treats each other like family. Everyone goes out of their way to help others.
I have been working for Nexion for over 10 years. I started off as a CNA, then a floor nurse, and was promoted to Medical Records. There’s definitely an opportunity for growth with Nexion. The company is family oriented. I would recommend any Nexion company as a place of employment.
I really enjoy working with the residents in the facility.
I enjoy my wonderful residents, my amazing co-workers, and the facility itself.
I have worked at Indianola Rehab & Healthcare Center since June, 2017. Like the seasons come and go so does life at the facility. We have an awesome team that provides decorations for the seasons and the holidays, activities for the residents, nursing care 24/7, 365 days a year and CNAs that provide daily living care to some of the best residents that I know and have known. Our Therapy team is top notch with some of the most caring therapists around. The residents enjoy the daily interactions with the entire team. We have a Silver AHCA/NCAL national quality award that we worked hard to obtain and are so proud of. One of the best things that Summer 2021 allowed the facility and residents was actual visitation with family and friends rather than digital or through the windows. We still have to observe the six (6) foot rule but to see family and residents faces light up makes my heart shine. We are constantly striving to increase the number of residents that live in the facility so if you have family, friends or neighbors that require either short term or long-term care, please recommend Indianola Rehab & Healthcare Center. We would love to have them come and stay with us!
