I enjoy working at Picayune Rehab and Healthcare Center because of its environment. Staff are always willing to go the extra mile for the residents. The facility is clean and welcoming. There is always something going on with activities. There is truly a sense of genuine love for the residents at Picayune Rehab and Healthcare Center.
When I became a nurse, I knew I wanted to help people and be there for people in need. The best part of this job is helping people get through whatever is holding them back whether it is sickness, being down, and therapy, etc. Being a part of this Nexion family is what makes me happy. We are one big family here and we care for each and everyone.
I’ve worked at this building for 20 years, starting out as a laundry attendant. I then attended CNA classes and became a Certified Nurse Aide. I then attended Medication Aide classes and become a Certified Medication Aide. Lastly, I went and got my license to become an Activity Director, which I am currently working as. I love working here because it’s a small home and the staff is like family to me. The residents here are like family, as well. I love all of them. We also have a great management team here at North Star Ranch.
I have worked at Crystal Rehabilitation for almost 9 years, and I enjoy interacting with the residents. I enjoy learning about their life stories.
I enjoy working here at Cornerstone. The atmosphere here and employees are great. My favorite thing about working here is getting to see the smiles on the residents faces when you stop what you are doing just to say HI, or just to fix something for them.
I chose long term care due to my mother previously being a nursing home administrator. Caring for others was instilled in my bones as a young girl and has become my passion. I love working at Sterling Hills. We are close knit family. I love that our residents are generally happy and safe in our care.

Since joining Nexion Health, our facility has been continuously improving. Nexion has completed several capital improvement projects and some internal improvement projects are now helping to reduce our employee workload, while also improving resident care. I am very happy to be a part of the North Star management team and I am looking forward to completing additional facility improvements, as well as assisting in delivering excellent quality healthcare to all of our residents.
I’ve been employed at Village Creek for about 8 years and I have enjoyed every day of it. I have enjoyed my ADON, she is excellent, my DON is great and my administrator is awesome! All my coworkers are team players and that’s why I enjoy being an employee at Village Creek.

McKinney is my hometown; I grew up here. It’s always been on my heart to work with the elderly since I was a little girl. I used to go with my grandma to the nursing home and I would sit and play BINGO and Dominoes with the ladies. I love being at McKinney, I love our team. Some of our team have been here for 10-20 years. Even our new staff, it seems they have been here a while because we work together as a family. A special memory I have is seeing how we came together as one when the flood occurred. We came together to care for our residents to ensure they were safe. One of my special memories is the Christmas in July party we had. We dressed up in luaus and even had a Santa! We wanted to come together and celebrate with our residents and staff as there has been a lot of difficulty with COVID.
I am proud to be working at Yazoo City Health and Rehab Center since 2012. I love all of my co-workers and have had nothing but a great experience since having my Grandfather, Aunt, Mother-in-Law, Mother and Husband in this facility. I had great care for all of them. I love being a part of the Nexion family.
Green valley has been one of the best facilities I have worked at. The family-oriented environment makes it easier to handle whatever situations are at hand. Just like a family, we enjoy seeing and spending time with our residents and work family. In my opinion, this makes the job easier.

I’m proud to say that I celebrated my 1-year anniversary at Marrero health care on 9/30/21. I truly enjoy coming to work in such a family-friendly atmosphere. At Gulf Shores, I work with amazing coworkers, our food is delicious, and I like working under the supervision of Pablo Pillado, Director of Nursing.
This place to me is Home Away from Home. I really love coming to work and the residents are my family. This nursing home is filled with love and respect for all. That’s why I’ve been here for 23 years and still loving it.
