Employee Testimonials
As a new hire at Picayune Rehab, one of the best things so far about working here is the opportunities provided to learn new areas and expand my nursing about my job focus. One of my favorite things is seeing a resident with a wound heal and close.
I’ve been employed at Village Creek for about 8 years and I have enjoyed every day of it. I have enjoyed my ADON, she is excellent, my DON is great and my administrator is awesome! All my coworkers are team players and that’s why I enjoy being an employee at Village Creek.
I have been here a few months now and I really like the facility, the staff and the residents. The great thing about working here is you don’t hear anyone saying this is not my job, or go get someone else to do this, we all work together. Everyone steps up and helps each other as one. We are like family here and we all really love this facility.
I enjoy my wonderful residents, my amazing co-workers, and the facility itself.
Columbia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a great place to work. I love the people. Our employees are passionate about providing quality nursing care and rehabilitation to both our rehab and long-term care residents. The staff are professional, caring, and compassionate. I enjoy working with the staff here, the management team encourages a collaborative culture, the work environment is friendly, and the pay and benefits are competitive. The corporate staff empowers the local facility team by providing the resources, development opportunities, technology and professional support needed to provide a high-quality healing and supportive environment for our residents. Each day at Columbia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is challenging and rewarding and I can’t imagine working anywhere else.
I have been working at The Bluffs for over 4 years, and I’ve loved every minute of it! All members of the staff are amazing to work with and so easy to communicate with. I have learned so much during my time here; we care for many patients who present with a large spectrum of diagnoses. It’s great to be able to witness how much everyone here impacts the lives of all the patients in a positive manner. The best part of my working here is seeing the patients who came to our facility with difficulty performing certain tasks, present with improvement in overall function and independence in their daily activities. More importantly, I love seeing the positivity the patients emit and the genuine happiness they exude while they are here.
Picayune Rehab and Healthcare Center is truly the best place to work! I enjoy working here for many reasons! I love the staff and residents, the warm and welcoming environment. We always have a blast together.
When I walk down the halls at Cornerstone and see the patients, I see my family. They know me and always ask about my daughter. They don’t live where I work, I work where they live. I enjoy making them laugh, dancing, and singing with them. They are a part of my life. Even when I’m not at work I think about them and wonder how they are doing. I don’t see my life without my patients. They are mine!
Ever Since I have started working at Patterson Healthcare Center, it has brought a new light into my life. The employees and residents have something so special about them. This facility is motivated to help people and be there for their physical, mental, and emotional needs. There is so much love and motivation that comes behind the work of the employees to the residents. It is a very positive and uplifting atmosphere that is such a joy to work in. While working at this facility I learn so many new things every day. I love Patterson Healthcare Center and it holds a special place in my heart!
Green valley has been one of the best facilities I have worked at. The family-oriented environment makes it easier to handle whatever situations are at hand. Just like a family, we enjoy seeing and spending time with our residents and work family. In my opinion, this makes the job easier.
North Star Ranch is home to me. Being that we are a smaller facility, you really get to know the residents who live here, as well as the families. You know them on a first name basis, and they know you and your family. The families care because they know we care. I can’t see myself working anywhere else, as I love all of my residents. They are like family. Working here is more than just a job to me.
I love interacting with our residents. They quickly become our family. Sterling Hills is a great place to work.
I have been a CNA at Village Creek for 6 years. I love working here because it feels like home. We are all team players and everyone gets along. It’s a great atmosphere to work in!
I have worked here for 24 years. Started out in housekeeping and laundry, moved to housekeeping supervisor then to a CNA. It is a learning experience here every day. I enjoy spending time with the residents.
I have worked at Crystal Rehabilitation for almost 9 years, and I enjoy interacting with the residents. I enjoy learning about their life stories.
I have worked here for 26 years. It is a rewarding place to work. We touch lives every day from employees to residents.
I am the Activity Director and I have been here 15 years. I love my job and residents.
McKinney is my hometown; I grew up here. It’s always been on my heart to work with the elderly since I was a little girl. I used to go with my grandma to the nursing home and I would sit and play BINGO and Dominoes with the ladies. I love being at McKinney, I love our team. Some of our team have been here for 10-20 years. Even our new staff, it seems they have been here a while because we work together as a family. A special memory I have is seeing how we came together as one when the flood occurred. We came together to care for our residents to ensure they were safe. One of my special memories is the Christmas in July party we had. We dressed up in luaus and even had a Santa! We wanted to come together and celebrate with our residents and staff as there has been a lot of difficulty with COVID.
Since joining the North Star team almost a year ago, I have been able to further expand on my health care career goals. We, as a team, help to provide our residents with the very best care possible. My department has been given the direction and tools necessary to accomplish this goal. North Star seems to be committed to quality healthcare and I am proud to be a part of the team.
I’m the DON of Vivian Healthcare. I love my residents and co-workers. It’s my life.
