Employee Testimonials
I have worked here since 1986. I started out as a CNA, then became a rehab tech, moved to CNA supervisor, then Activities Director. All I can say is WOW what an experience!
I have worked here as a CNA for 5 years. I love my residents and helping others.
Here at North Star Ranch is the place to be. It is like home to me and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else. I love all of the residents and love to see a smile on their faces. They are like family to me. I enjoy working with all of my co-workers and wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m the Dietary Director here at McKinney Healthcare and I have been here almost 6 years now. I love coming to work. When I see a resident that hasn’t eaten and then they start eating, that just does something to me. It brightens my day and makes me feel like I’m doing something worthwhile. I like the interactions with my coworkers, and I love the interactions with the residents. We enjoy each other and have fun together. The residents keep me coming back every day. I love them!
My work experience at Duncanville is warm, kind, and friendly.
Very friendly staff here who work well together!
McKinney is my hometown; I grew up here. It’s always been on my heart to work with the elderly since I was a little girl. I used to go with my grandma to the nursing home and I would sit and play BINGO and Dominoes with the ladies. I love being at McKinney, I love our team. Some of our team have been here for 10-20 years. Even our new staff, it seems they have been here a while because we work together as a family. A special memory I have is seeing how we came together as one when the flood occurred. We came together to care for our residents to ensure they were safe. One of my special memories is the Christmas in July party we had. We dressed up in luaus and even had a Santa! We wanted to come together and celebrate with our residents and staff as there has been a lot of difficulty with COVID.
I have been here a few months now and I really like the facility, the staff and the residents. The great thing about working here is you don’t hear anyone saying this is not my job, or go get someone else to do this, we all work together. Everyone steps up and helps each other as one. We are like family here and we all really love this facility.
I am proud to be working at Yazoo City Health and Rehab Center since 2012. I love all of my co-workers and have had nothing but a great experience since having my Grandfather, Aunt, Mother-in-Law, Mother and Husband in this facility. I had great care for all of them. I love being a part of the Nexion family.
I have been a therapist for fifteen years, and have had the pleasure of working at Green valley for the last four years. In my career, I have worked many nursing facilities, but Green Valley has been one of my very favorites! The staff have become like family, and I have met so many wonderful residents. Green valley makes coming to work easy!
I started here in 1977 in Laundry then became a CNA. I left and went to nursing school. Once I received my nursing degree, I came back. Ms. Albertha taught me everything I know as a nurse. I work with Dynamic people here. I have made really good friends while working here. I run into family members of residents I have taken care of over the years. We talk and laugh about the good times we shared. This really makes me happy to know I touched their lives and their loved one’s life. It is my calling to work for Gonzales Healthcare center.
I enjoy working with awesome staff. Our residents really enjoy the desserts I prepare for them. I really look forward to the renovations coming to the facility!
I am an RN who just joined the Vivian Healthcare family. I love it here. Everyone (staff and residents) are sweet and helpful. Would like to stay here until I retire.
I love all my co-workers and taking care of my residents because they are very, very special to me. We have a great work environment to work in, and everyone is so special to me.
I’ve worked at this building for 20 years, starting out as a laundry attendant. I then attended CNA classes and became a Certified Nurse Aide. I then attended Medication Aide classes and become a Certified Medication Aide. Lastly, I went and got my license to become an Activity Director, which I am currently working as. I love working here because it’s a small home and the staff is like family to me. The residents here are like family, as well. I love all of them. We also have a great management team here at North Star Ranch.
Indianola Rehab is a wonderful place to work. We are very family oriented, and we take care of each other. The facility is a place where we show love and respect. This is home away from home for our residents that we love and care for every day.
I enjoy working at Golden Creek. It is such a family-oriented environment. I love caring for the residents here. Just knowing that I make a difference in someone’s stay makes it worthwhile.
I started here in August of 1984 as a nurse. I have retired and come back twice because I really missed caring and being with my residents and the staff. There is always someone here to make me laugh. I just love working for Gonzales Healthcare.
Green valley has been one of the best facilities I have worked at. The family-oriented environment makes it easier to handle whatever situations are at hand. Just like a family, we enjoy seeing and spending time with our residents and work family. In my opinion, this makes the job easier.
I really enjoy working with the residents in the facility.
