Medical/Dental/Vision Care (available to full-time associates working 32 or more hours per week unless noted otherwise)
- Nexion offers major medical as well as basic preventive care plans with premiums paid on a pre-tax basis. All plans pay 100% for in-network preventive care and are available the first of the month after 60 days of full-time employment.
- You can choose from two dental options, Basic or Advanced plans. The Advanced plan includes orthodontia for children 18 and under. Both options cover 100% of preventive services.
- Nexion offers full-service eye care that pays for annual eye exams and lenses every year, and contacts, all with low copays.
- Zero co-pay or out-of-pocket costs* for approved imaging, out-patient surgical procedures, and cancer/ autoimmune infusions available to you and family members enrolled in a major medical plan.
- Unlimited Telemedicine services with zero co-pay or out-of-pocket costs available to you and family members (available to full-time and part-time associates)
- Concierge services available at no cost to explore the benefits and savings of Medicare coverage.
* Members enrolled in the high deductible health plan must satisfy the minimum annual IRS deductible before having access to these services.
On-Demand Pay (available to available to full-time, part-time, and PRN associates)
- With our on-demand pay benefit, you can have early access to the wages you’ve earned when you need it.

Flexible Spending Accounts (available to full-time associates)
- Both healthcare and dependent care FSAs allow you to have pre-tax money deducted from your paycheck to pay for out-of-pocket expenses like copays, prescriptions, eye exams/glasses, orthodontia, daycare, pre-school and after-school care.
Health Savings Account (available to full-time associates)
- Nexion’s Health Savings Account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars up to an annual limit to help offset your annual deductible and pay for qualified health care expenses.
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan (available to full-time, part-time, and PRN associates)
- Pre-tax deferral options start as low as 1% or $1, and you can increase your deferral when and as you choose. You’re eligible on the first of the month after 90 days of employment.
- Investment options, from conservative to moderate to aggressive, allow you to tailor your retirement to best meet your individual retirement goals and preferences.

Tuition Reimbursement and Education Advancement (available to full-time associates)
- You’ll be reimbursed up to $2,500 of tuition costs in a 12-month period with a B+ average if enrolled in a healthcare or related degree or certification program. This is considered a loan that’s forgiven over time with continued full-time employment.
- Increase your knowledge, skills and pay through Nexion’s Level 1 and 2 Education Advancement Programs.
Barbara Hair Excellence Through Education Program (available to full-time associates and their dependents who meet the eligibility criteria)
- The Nexion Health Foundation annually grants several scholarships (up to $2,500) to Nexion Associates and Nexion Associates’ children (who are 26 years old or younger and unmarried as of the start date for the fall semester) who are enrolled to attend an accredited college or vocational school on a full-time basis (12+ credits), have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (B-), and are pursuing careers related to health and/or elder care.
Nursing Scholarship (available to full-time associates)
- The Gwendolyn Rubbell Memorial Scholarship, established to honor the legacy a former Nexion Director of Nursing, grants two scholarships (up to $5,000) to associates enrolled in an accredited BSN or MSN program on a full-time basis (12+ credits), have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, demonstrate a commitment to, and a potential for, leadership in nursing, and demonstrate ongoing involvement in community service
Emergency Relief (available to full-time associates)
- The Nexion Health Foundation provides financial assistance to Nexion Associates, as well as their immediate family members who are also dependents of the Nexion Associate, who suffer loss due to widespread natural disasters or other major, unforeseeable, life circumstances. The Emergency Relief Program provides funds for shelter, medical attention, clothing, food, and other basic needs. Nexion Associates are considered eligible upon the first of the month following ninety (90) days of consecutive full-time employment.
A full suite of voluntary benefits is also available to full-time associates.
