Our facility is committed to providing quality and compassionate nursing and rehabilitation services in a safe, comfortable environment. We strive to make your “home away from home”, whether a short or long-term need, a satisfying healing experience. Our nursing, therapy and interdisciplinary care team members have extensive and diverse clinical expertise that meet the wide range of chronic and acute conditions of individuals who are not quite ready to return safely home following a planned medical intervention or unexpected medical complication. Our team is equally focused on meeting the long-term holistic needs of those who choose to make our facility their permanent residence. We accept admissions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, complemented by around the clock nursing care and daily specialized rehabilitation services. We are excited to be your local leader in nursing & rehabilitation services.

I’ve worked at this building for 20 years, starting out as a laundry attendant. I then attended CNA classes and became a Certified Nurse Aide. I then attended Medication Aide classes and become a Certified Medication Aide. Lastly, I went and got my license to become an Activity Director, which I am currently working as. I love working here because it’s a small home and the staff is like family to me. The residents here are like family, as well. I love all of them. We also have a great management team here at North Star Ranch.

Since joining Nexion Health, our facility has been continuously improving. Nexion has completed several capital improvement projects and some internal improvement projects are now helping to reduce our employee workload, while also improving resident care. Working at North Star Ranch feels like you’re working with family, from the staff to the residents. You know them on a first name basis, and they know you and your family. The families care because they know we care. I can’t see myself working anywhere else, as I love all of my residents. They are like family. Working here is more than just a job to me.

I really enjoy being here. I am grateful to still be able to dress myself and do things on my own. I certainly enjoy not having to cook or clean anymore! In my spare time, I like to read and do word search puzzles and participate in activities. Everyone here is so nice and I appreciate it.
