Meadowview Health & Rehab Center Honored by Greater Minden Chamber
January 26, 2018 | Awards, Louisiana
Recently, the Greater Minden Chamber honored affiliate, Meadowview Health and Rehab Center and Rebecca Myles, Administrator, as finalists for Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year.
The Greater Minden Chamber annually recognizes businesses and individuals of the Minden community. Their 76th annual Membership Banquet was held on January 25th. Rebecca and her team represented Nexion beautifully and enjoyed the “Red Carpet” themed event.
In preparation for the gala, we asked Rebecca to share her thoughts about what it means to serve the Minden community. “I know that I speak for Nexion Health and all 147 Meadowview Health and Rehab Center staff when I say it’s our calling to offer long term care and specialized clinical services to the Minden community. It is also our distinct pleasure to work and operate in a superior health care system that is represented in this community.”
Meadowview Health and Rehab Center has been a partner to the Minden, LA community for over 50 years. This facility provides a wide range of short and long term care. Unique to Meadowview is its ventilator dependent unit. Residents come right from Minden, but because of their vent specialty offering many residents are from all over the country as well.
When asked about her path to becoming Administrator at Meadowview, Rebecca said, “I am blessed beyond measure. It truly is a gift to live AND work in the same community. Although I have not always had the benefit of living and working in the same community, I appreciate doing so now far more than I ever would have.” Rebecca has journeyed in her professional life gaining experiences and capitalizing on opportunities as a Respiratory Therapist and a Social Worker – all of which have led her to her current role as Administrator. “My path was prepared and my patience and trust in God’s timing to be perfect has paid off. Standing side by side with my team, taking care of the most precious generation who are from right here in Minden and afar, I can make a difference in our community.” Rebecca and her staff are proud to serve the Minden community in long term care and work daily to reflect the goals of the Greater Minden Chamber and its membership, by being a reliable, productive and upstanding employer and business in Minden, LA.
Nexion Health is thankful to Rebecca and her team for their dedication to serving our residents and their community. Congrats! And we are sure you will go home with the prize in 2019!
